  2. That is so cute and funny. I am so glad I don't have goats. I don't think I have the stamina.

    1. They are great! Just don't let a buck get in with them; that is when they become a headache. Well then and when they get their heads stuck in a fence.

  3. Thanks for the comments folks! I've been doing my updates through the App on my phone and can't figure out how to comment on there as well, so if I am delayed in responding that is why.

Yeah those goats will do anything for some extra feed... Ridiculous.

  4. Haha! Good thing you were there to catch him in the act.

I had a doe get into chicken feed last summer. I thought for a day that she was going to die.

    1. i've never had any bloat problems from goats eating food, hay or grass, but i have had one die from eating too much milk one day when we were weaning it. i made two mistakes, one was giving it a bottle cause it was whining a few days after we had stopped giving it bottles, and two was letting my 3 year old son feed it the bottle (which I told him to let him drink half then stop, and he let him drink the whole thing, because well, he was 3 years old, lol). The goat almost rolled over and died right then, it was bad. I won't let that happen again. Once they are off the tit they are off now; no backsies.
